Lafazanis Winery

Overview
Built aesthetically in a beautiful natural landscape and surrounded by the owned vineyards that lie on the slopes of the hill Fokas at an altitude of 300-400 meters, the Lafazanis winery is one of the most modern winery units in the country. With more than 50 products of all the wine categories and with a production capacity that can reach 5,000 tonnes a year, the emblematic winery showcases the native varieties of the Greek vineyard but foreign varieties as well that thrive in the charismatic climate of the region - a place of timeless dialogue of the Greeks with the nature and history.
The winery, which covers an area of 4,000 sq.m. and employs 25 employees with an average age of 35 years, meets the requirements of the most modern winemaking techniques, continuing the innovative use of tradition. Facilities include a well-equipped laboratory, staffed with qualified personnel, for accurate measurements and analyses of the wines and for quality control according to international standards, as well as a "Small Winery" where new biological products and varieties intersections are tested. The aging of wine is in an ideal and peaceful setting. In the cellar, the temperature remains constant throughout the year at 18 ° C - 20 ° C, ensuring optimum conditions of vinification and maintenance, whereas all the barrels, mostly of French origin, are oak and are constantly renewed.
